IT'S STILL FAR FOR ME TO BECOME AN ARCHITECT...

This one's my first post. Just trying to write a post with english.

Hmm, what should i write here? Let me think..

Yeah, i still don't know what to write..

Ok, to be honest, since i was still in first grade (correct me if my english wrong, please..) at Architecture UI, i can't write an amazing writting or review about architecture and its stasis structure or its beautiful buildings. I realize that i still have a long long long way to become a professional architect. Mr.Gun, my lecturer at "Pengantar Arsitektur" subject told us, me and the other still-far-to-become-an-architect, that we need about twenty or more years to learn all about architecture. Wowowowow, what?!?!?!?!? Is it that long?? I thought i could be an architect in just 4 years. Ok, so from now on i really really need to work hard. HARDER maybe. To think that i still can't draw perspective view as well as my senior in "Teknik Komunikasi Arsitektur" or that i still don't know well how to visualize the image inside-my-mind with drawing, well, i do still nothing now.. (T__T)

And i still don't know what to write in my next post..

Someone can give me any comments?

At least you dare to try :) Next post maybe more better and better and better... Just keep on trying to write...about anything. Dan gak usah kepatok pake bahasa Inggris juga...bebas-bebas aja kok.

Dek Sheila ( gue kayak oom-oom ;)Gini aja deh, Pak Gun itu kan Suhu-nya arsitek, jadi ya dengerin ajalah ! Yang penting kitanya ! Arsitek itu bermain dengan ruang, dan gambar hanya alat bantu utk menyampaikan pesan kepada penggunanya. Arsitek membantu pengguna menemukan jawaban atas masalah ruang yang ditemuinya dengan bahasa penggunanya, bukan bahasa arsitektur. Karena itu sampaikan ide kita dengan bahasa yang gampang buat si penggunanya. Selesai deh urusan, trus dapet duit ! ;) Tapi proses belajar itu seumur hidup, jadi kalo mau ya belajar trus aja, biar pinter yaaah. Kalo di sini maah, bebasin aja mo ngapain yang penting berteman & perbanyak channel bisnizz booo ! Yaaaak yuuuuuk !

Well, girl! We should go on through long process to get the best result that we've dream. Just remember, instant process will reach instant success and also instant downslide. Never give up to learn everything, including architectture. Cause this life is has to learn everything,  everytime and everywhere. You could be an architect after you pass the bachelor degree, but you need a long time road to be a good architect. So if you don't mind, i would correct your opinion. When you become an architect, maybe you could be a junior first then an assistant after you become the real and good architect. The good architect not just make a beautiful and famous building, but h/she should make something useful for human life and their environtment. That's why we need more than 10 years to be like that. But maybe you could reach it 5 years after you get your bachelor degree, nobody knows! And don't be afraid, some architect have started their learning process without good skill in drawing. Because it's just one factor to be a good architect, and it could be learnt by everyone! You have to try it girl! Maybe someday you'll become an Indonesian Zaha Hadid! You have to have a dream....a big dream with a great effort to reach it!

wow, thanks for your opinion..

i agree with your statement that good skill in drawing just one factor to be a good architect..

i think creativity and skill may take a big part in architecture..isn't it?

ada faktor lainkah yg berperan besar dalam proses berarsitektur?

emang bener seperti apa yang di bilang Dwi Hergiawan! itu merupakan salah satu S.I.-nya didalam ilmu Arsitekture yang mesti dipegang baik dari "pre-junior" sampe qt Master sekalipun!

jadi, kalo sampe ada seseorang yang lu anggap Maestro Arsitektur tapi ngelecehin lu sebagai Arsitek ingusan! berarti tu orang belumlah menjadi seorang Maestro Arsitektur! karena seorang Maestro tak kan pernah melecehkan sang Junior! karena sang Maestro telah tau akan "satu" hal penting di dalam dunia Arsitektur! apa itu? tebak aja!

sebagai tambahan, seperti Bapak Thomas AE katakan juga (Tau kHan sp dia? penemu lampu!?) :

"Jangan pernah berFIKIR kita bisa atau tidak untuk meraihnya, tapi TEMUKAN jalan bagaimana agar kita bisa untuk meraihnya"
